This objective is the foundation of the Theme introduced at this 19th edition of the games. \u201cEmpower Wellness, Ignite Productivity\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>It is worthy of note that this 19th edition of NOGIG will have thirteen companies participating namely: Aradel, Chevron, ExxonMobil, NCDMB, NLNG, NMDPRA, NNPC Ltd, NUPRC, Oando, PTI, Seplat, Shell and TotalEnergies. It has grown into a mega biennial sporting event for all confirmed employees of the Oil & Gas companies spanning the Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, Regulatory and Service sectors in Nigeria. Tennis, Table Tennis, Golf and Swimming were added to the schedule of events in the subsequent edition of 1988. While Football debuted as an event in 2000. Scrabble, Chess and 8-Ball Pool was included in the 2006 edition, Sprint Athletics was added to spice up the closing day events in 2010 and has remained a feature ever since.
